PACKET RUN

Deep Sea Data Transit

You are DATA-PKT, a bioluminescent data packet racing through the undersea fiber optic network. A massive cable disruption has fragmented the internet backbone. Navigate the ocean floor from SHORE through the CONTINENTAL SHELF into the DEEP SEA, past the TRENCH, and into the ABYSS. Every gate is a real firewall rule: it only lets YOUR packet's protocol, port, or destination through ONE lane. Jump for the top lane, stay grounded for the bottom lane. Guess wrong and the rule drops you. A relentless PACKET FLOOD wall surges from behind. Stay ahead or be overwhelmed. Deliver your payload before the connection times out.
^ Top lane (jump) SPACE / UP
v Bottom lane (stay grounded) DOWN (hold) / none
←→ Move LEFT / RIGHT
Your packet's protocol/port/destination shows at the top of the screen and holds for several gates in a row. Each gate labels its TOP and BOTTOM lane with a real rule (port, protocol, ACL allow-list, or destination subnet); only one lane matches YOUR packet. A reference table of well-known ports stays on screen the whole run.
TCP Handshake AIR+JUMP Double jump
» UDP Burst RIGHT+DOWN Speed dash
DNS Resolve HOLD DOWN (air) Slow-mo to read a gate
